Dear Clients,
We are excited to share with you that we have been allowed to reopen and we will be doing so on June 1st, coinciding with the 7 year anniversary of Olea Massage + Bodywork.
We would have preferred to throw a big party but instead we are focusing our efforts on making all necessary arrangements to comply and exceed with government regulations while we get you back to our massage tables with well established wellness options catered just for you.
We have improved our already strict sanitation standards and that means there will be some changes to your experience when you see us again.
Intake Form
Please understand we will need to have your health history updated in our system. Look for a secure link to our online intake form in your appointment confirmation email and fill it out prior to your arrival. Everybody is different so here is where we find the information we need so you can get the most out of your visit.
Check in and Check out
Our reception area has been modified to allow for social distance while you wait for your therapist. We ask you to please be on time for your appointment but don’t arrive early so we can make sure we follow through with this criteria or you may be asked to wait outside.
We have installed an iPad at the entrance for you to self check in and out. Our receptionist Emilie will continue to provide you with great customer service for booking future appointments or to answer any question you may have.
Checking your temperature
We will be checking the temperature of all our employees and we ask for your understanding that yours should be measured too. We will conduct this upon your arrival with a touchless thermometer. We will also ask you a few questions about if you had any symptoms lately and also exposure to the virus or people that have tested positive for COVID 19. We appreciate your honesty when answering these questions. We reserve the right to deny treatment if you show symptoms of disease.
Mask wearing
All our employees are required to wear a face mask and we ask you to join us in this important protective measure. Masks are required throughout your visit to our office. Please bring your own if possible, if not you will be provided with a disposable one for your convenience.
Scheduling
Due to necessity to wear masks we will be shortening the sessions to 45 minutes instead an hour and our VIP clients are welcome to schedule 1 hour 45 minutes if needed. Also start times will be affected. This is all to allow a better flow of clients entering and leaving our office.
We have received a large number of appointment requests through email and phone and we are doing our best to accommodate each and every one of you.
Our rooms
We no longer have any carpeted areas. All our floors and other contact surfaces will be thoroughly disinfected between clients so you can feel safe when walking barefoot.
To insure the utmost level of hygiene and sanitation we have decided to discontinue draping (sheets that cover you during your session) to avoid any possible spreading of the virus. We know this is a drastic change but necessary to keep you and your therapist safe.
Please bring minimal clothing with you such as undergarments, workout clothing, pajamas or even a beach outfit, in short whatever works for your modesty and comfort; the more minimal the clothing the better. Rooms will be temperature controlled for your comfort.
Payment
For your convenience, we have implemented contactless payment technology. All payments will be preauthorized to the credit card we have on file for you.
We ask that you update your card information if needed; as usual you will still be able to add gratuity for your therapist if you choose to do so.
Sanitizer Stations
You will have access to hand sanitizer at the check in/out, reception, rooms and restroom.
