What I did since last summer
After I announced my leave from hands-on work last July, you have been curious about my occupation. In addition to running a business, I have accomplished quite a bit in the past year. I miss working on your amazing bodies!
Since I have realized that physical pain has hidden roots in mind and affects energy, I went on a search to understand mind body energy trinity. At the same time, I dove deep, not in the Caribbean as I would like, but into my unconscious.
Focussed on a career, I completely neglected my personal life.
Like many in Charlotte, I was trapped in a work-hard-play-hard cycle. I needed a change. It was scary to pull a trigger and leave on a peak of my career, and I am happy it turned out well.
After I have finished a certificate in wellness coaching from American Exercise Council, I didn’t think that people needed to be taught to eat healthily and exercise regularly. How one can get inspired to be their best was my real question. To stand apart from the crowd of fresh-baked coaches, I took a course in Ayurveda, Herbalism, and psychedelic mushrooms.
And while I wait for psychedelic therapy to become legal in the USA, I study philosophy and Vedic astrology.
Doing so, I found an amazing regression therapist in India. In just a few sessions online, she led me to the very root of my trauma, which I was not even aware of! Suddenly everything made sense. It was so easy that I decided to enroll in her year-long course to learn her craft. As I continue my transformation, I want to reach out my helping hand to you if you dare to live a fun life.
After 10 years of bodywork and 1 year of self-study, I advocate for self-healing. If you want to manage your pain, neglect your emotions and have an average life – I understand you. But if you want to chase your dreams, I support you.
The report would not be complete without my hospital story.
I was biking my heavy electric bike, hit a curb, and fell. I was concerned about the ambulance charges (no health insurance) and tried to get up to go home. The pain exceeded my ambitions. Long story short, I spent almost 2 weeks in a hospital as a fantastic Dr Canada+team were puzzling my shuttered leg into a whole. 4 surgeries, and 4 months later I am back to walking. This trauma felt like a rollercoaster I m happy to be standing with both feet on earth.
Please reach out to me if your life is not fun.
Let’s see what simple changes you can make today to have fun tomorrow. Help me pay off my 300K hospital bill 😆
